Earlier this month, Associate Director of College Counseling Andy Ramirez attended a meeting of the Association of Black Admissions and Financial Aid Officers of the Ivy League and Sister Schools (ABAFAOILSS), an organization founded in 1970 to provide vital assistance for African American, Native American, Latino, and Hispanic students as they make the transition from high school to college (for more visit www.abaschools.org). The meeting, held at Wellesley College in early January for members of the organization, provided Mr. Ramirez the opportunity to meet and network with admissions officers from some of the top colleges and universities in the country, including Stanford, Dartmouth, Georgetown, and MIT.
